Tara’s Cacao Coconut Cream Dream
Brittany Boersma of BZenWellness shared a similar recipe with me when she was pregnant with her darling Daphne, called Tashy’s Chocolate Mousse. It is now goddess enhanced with easy to source local ingredients. This is a healthy and delicious treat that is fun to decorate and make into an offering that all will enjoy.
Ingredients:
3 cans of full fat organic (no guar) canned coconut milk from Azure Market at Red Barn
9 egg yolks from Fair Valley Farm
2/3 cacao powder (bulk cacao from Red Barn)
1/2 cup honey (I personally enjoy the New Zealand Manuka honey that Red Barn offers)
16tbsp Nancy’s butter from Red Barn
1 scoop collagen (Great Lake Wellness brand) Grass-fed collagen
1 cup of sea salt macadamia nuts from the trusty Red Barn
1 tsp Stamets 7 (Host Defense organic mushroom powder)
1 tsp Turkey Tail (Host Defense organic mushroom powder)
1 tbsp vitamineral Earth broth (Health Force superfoods available at the Red Barn)
Borage flowers and Raspberries from Red Barn or your garden and yummy yoni chocolates for that extra special touch
Instructions:
Add 2 cans to the large skillet on medium/low heat + 16 tbsp butter + collagen and mix until all is melted and dissolved. Stir in honey once you’re done filling blender ingredients so you don’t burn the honey.
In blender, add egg yolk, 1 more can coconut milk + 2/3 cup of raw organic cacao powder + macadamia nuts +mushroom blend + vitamineral earth + melted skillet contents and blend.
Pour into individual glass serving jars or into your favorite local spun pottery, cover and refrigerate for a few hours before enjoying!
